Rules of the Club

Name: Stockholm Gossip Girls (“the Club”)

The Club is proprietary club, proprietor being CGI Ventures AB

The members of the Club are under no financial liability by reason of membership of the Club save the annual membership.

Membership is by application and recommendation of a current member. Upon approval, the Club will notify candidate of acceptance of membership and supply her with a copy of the Rules of the Club. Subject to paying the Club membership fee, the candidate will then become a full member of the Club. On becoming a member, the name of the candidate will be entered in the list of members and will be entitled to all the benefits and privileges of the Club and would have deemed to have agreed to be bound by the rules of the Club and all subsequent amendments thereof.

Fees and Subscription: The joining fee payable by a member shall be such amount as set by the Club and shall be non-refundable. The Club may apply an increase on any membership rate to the current member at any time but not before their next renewal date. If a member, having paid the annual subscription in advance for the year, shall for any reason cease to be a member before the expiry of that year, she shall not be entitled to be reimbursed any part of that annual subscription.

If a member fails to pay any amount due from the Club within 30 days from the due date for payment, the Club will reserve the right to suspend or terminate the membership.

Renewals recur annually from the 1st March. If a member fails to pay the membership fee due  within 30 days of payment, the Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership. 

Discipline and expulsion of members: A member may resign her membership at any time by letter or email to the Club address. The Club can expel any member or guest for breach of the Club rules at any time. The Club may expel or suspend from the Club members whose conduct , in the opinion of the Club, might be injurious to the character or interests of the Club or render her unfit to associate with members of the Club. Before a member is expelled or suspended, the alleged offender’s must be inquired into and the person involved is required to send a written statement of events. If the Club is of the opinion that the member is guilty of such conduct as mentioned and has failed to justify or explain it satisfactorily, the Club may either expel or suspend the offender at its discretion. The member will be disbarred from the Club activities while the member is suspended from membership. A member expelled forfeits all the privileges of membership without claim for any refund of subscription or joining fee.

Complaints: All complaints shall be made in writing to the Club.

Use of Club material: No member shall use the name, address, or logo of the Club in any advertisement, marketing material, invitations, prospectus or letter heading for business purposes without the written approval of the Club. No member shall use the name, address, or logo of the Club in any correspondence or article, which is intended for publication without the written approval of the Club.
